Macchadon was the homeworld of the heavily cyborgized Tharkan, a cold, desert planet with a large moon. It was there where the Robots were created. After the Tharkan had been driven off-world, the Machines claimed the planet as their capital and established there their most powerful base. Macchadon was very heavily defended, what became especially apparent during the first Machine Purge, when the united forces of the Velara's Alliance and the Ancients' assaulted the planet in final attempt to eliminate the Robots. Due to unimaginable power of the latters' Black Pearl, the world was sucked into a newly-formed black hole, along with its moon and the remaing ships of the Hypersteel Armada.
