Confederate troopers were the shock troopers of the Confederacy of Iliard. They were well-known representatives of both the state and its Army, and a method of keeping peace throughout the Confederate Oversector. Also famous were their trademark Gauss weapons and dark-grey Advanced Battle Suits.
They were widely referred to as the "CTs", a slang term being an abbreviation of their real name.
